Solar Canopy - Philadelphia, PA

This home was recently constructed in Philadelphia, PA, then retrofitted with a solar canopy. I served as lead surveyor and designer on the project and worked closely with Brooklyn Solar Canopy to make the canopy frame fit perfectly on the rooftop. Careful planning was involved to ensure that no conduit was visible from the street. The 6.4 kW DC solar array produces more than 85% energy offset and provides a shaded, stylish hangout spot on the roof with astonishing skyline views.
